Michael Williams,  Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources

The Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing all aspects of personnel management. This includes employee recruitment, selection, onboarding, evaluation, labor relations, compliance with state and federal employment laws, and the administration of employee benefits and contracts. The role supports both certificated and classified staff and ensures that human resources practices align with the district’s strategic goals and collective bargaining agreements. The Assistant Superintendent also serves as a chief advisor to the Superintendent and Board of Education on HR matters and plays a central role in fostering a positive, equitable, and legally compliant work environment. 

Ana MacDonald,  Administrative Assistant

Under the supervision and direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting critical district administrative functions and serving on behalf of assigned executive management staff; ensuring efficient operation of support functions; documenting and communicating information, activities and actions; works independently on related work and departmental tasks as required.

Alyssa Mensinger, HR Technician

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Division, perform a wide variety of responsible, analytical, technical, and professional duties relating to all aspects of District personnel; Research, develop, and maintain statistics; Knowledge of policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements; Assist with recruitment and selection efforts; Monitor personnel transactions; Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports to support and implement best practices; Handle information in a discreet and confidential manner.

Kristina Toledo, District Office Staff Secretary I

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Division, perform a variety of responsible secretarial and clerical support duties in support of the assigned office; and to provide general information and assistance to students, families, staff, and the general public in both English and Spanish.

Under administrative direction to supervise, assign, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the Human Resources Department including recruitment, application processing, position and salary placement, employee/labor relations, maintenance of personnel files, preparation of complex reports, interpreting and applying policy, providing highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources.
