2021-2022 Registration Information

Now Happening priority registration from Feb. 12 – Mar. 12.

  We want to encourage parents of New TK, Kinder, incoming 7th and 9th-grade students to register their children during this priority window. New TK and Kindergarten students who register during the priority period get priority placement at their home school.  

****Please note, that new students are not considered “enrolled” until all the required documentation is submitted to the office.****

ParentVue Information

NOTE: Any online registration/ParentVUE activity will be reflected for the current school year.  

Current Newark Unified Parents/Guardians

If you already have a ParentVUE account, click here to access your account. If you cannot remember your password, click the “Forgot Password” link on the Online Registration login page.

New students can be added to your current account. If you are enrolling a student in Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten, additional forms are required after you complete the online enrollment process. Please visit our K/TK enrollment page for more information, including the required Health Examination and Oral Health Assessment forms, residency verification requirements, and date range for admission to K and TK.

Please contact your student’s home school office if you need any support with ParentVUE access, or if you are not seeing all of your currently enrolled students when you log into your account.

New to Newark Unified Parents/Guardians

2020-2021 Intra-District Open Enrollment is now CLOSED.

2021-2022 Intra-District Open Enrollment (click here for form)

Requests for registered students to change schools WITHIN Newark Unified will be accepted at the District Office beginning January 4, 2021. An Intra-District Open Enrollment request must be completed for each student. Open Enrollment requests, that can be accommodated, are approved on a first come first served basis. Open Enrollment requests are NOT accepted at the school sites.

These requests will start being reviewed in June to allow time for families within the school area to register.

2020-2021 Interdistrict Transfer (click here for form: English | Spanish)

Requests to transfer INTO or OUT OF Newark Unified may be submitted to the District Office beginning Monday, March 1, 2021 for the 2021-2022 School Year. Interdistrict Transfer requests are NOT accepted at the school sites.
