As the new Lead II at BGI child care program, it is my pleasure to introduce myself.  I am excited to work with your children in their development. Being a parent myself, and being a passionate early childhood educator, I hope to meet your expectations and needs of your children.

Before joining this program, I was working as a teacher in Little Flowers Montessori for several years.  Prior to that, I was working with school aged children as a substitute teacher in the New Haven School District for about 4 years.

As for the formal education, I have a master’s degree in English, and all the Early Childhood Development credentials needed for the job.

If you need to talk to me regarding any issues, please don’t hesitate to contact me either in person or through email: [email protected].   You can always contact me at (510)-818-3641, between 7:00am to 9:00am and 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

At Kennedy Child Care we have a goal of “Creating a caring community,” which is focused on problem-solving, flexibility, and clear boundaries. This is based on three principles: “Take care of yourself, take care of each other, take care of our school.” We are working hard to establish students with tools to, “Talk problems out which each other,” rather than hitting, pushing, name calling, or other behavior that is undesirable. It is the responsibility of everyone (staff, students, families, and the community) to create a safe and effective learning community.

Hi! My name is Isidra McCracken. I was born in the Philippines. I have a child (girl) which we dearly love. I have been a childcare provider for over 9 years. In 2006 to 2011 I worked here as a substitute while studying child development, then I had an opportunity to work full time in Preschool at Little Flower Montessori for 3 years. My plan for next year was to pursue my degree in child development. In 2015 I was hired here at Musick Childcare. I love to work with children because I know that I can make a difference in their lives. My goal is to give a child a sense of self worth by helping them develop at their own pace while learning skills. I believe that children are unique as individual and I aspire to provide a loving caring environment where children are nurtured mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Marcia’s Pix I am Marcia Alvarez. I  was born in Nicaragua, Central America in 1965. In 2014, I immigrated with my 11-year-old son, and we are currently residing in Hayward.

I graduated from Chabot  College and I  had the opportunity to work in a Family Home Daycare, a Private Preschool Center and School Institutions and now I have the opportunity to work in the distinguished Newark Unified School District, specifically in the SNOW Elementary School Child Care Center.
