Assessment Information

Teachers employ a variety of assessment methods to gain a comprehensive understanding of their students’ knowledge and learning needs. On a daily basis, they utilize informal classroom observations, check for understanding strategies, and exit slips to adjust their instruction. Additionally, teachers rely on formal assessments such as benchmark tests, classroom exams, and annual state assessments to evaluate students’ academic progress over time and identify areas requiring further support.
