Title I

As part of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), Parent and Family Engagement, under Title 1, Part A outlines requirements for districts and schools related to engaging parents and families in their children's education.  All districts that receive Title I funds shall conduct outreach to all parents and family members and implement programs, activities, and procedures for the involvement of parents and family members.  Such programs, activities, and procedures shall be planned and implemented with meaningful consultation with parents of participating children.
