On June 25, 2025, the Board adopted Resolution 2024.25.35 Adopting Bylaws Governing the Measure O Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee. Pursuant to State law, the District is required to establish and appoint a citizens’ oversight committee to review bond expenditures for the purpose of ensuring that Measure O funds are spent on voter-approved projects. This resolution approves bylaws that will govern the administration of the committee. Committee members are expected to be appointed by the Board at a public meeting, upon recommendation of the Superintendent, within 60 days. The committee is scheduled to be appointed at the August 19, 2025 Board meeting.

All CBOC member appointments must be approved by the Board of Education. The Board accepts applications for any CBOC position at any time. The Board also has the discretion to expand membership beyond the legally required seven members.

Membership

CBOC members serve three-year terms. They may be eligible for reappointment for a second and third term.
