On October 21, 2025, the Board adopted Resolution 2025.26.11  Establishing the Newark Unified School District's Asset Management Advisory Committee and Approving Bylaws for the Committee. The committee will have two phases:

All Asset Management Advisory Committee member appointments must be approved by the Board of Education. The Board accepts applications for any position at any time. If you are interested in becoming a Committee Member, please fill out the District Asset Management Advisory Committee Application and submit it to jcroce@newarkunified.org or drop it off at the Newark Unified School District: 5715 Musick Avenue, Newark, CA 94560 Attention: Business Office.

Membership Information from Bylaws Adopted October 21, 2025

The Committee shall consist of a minimum of seven (7) members and no more than eleven (11) members, appointed by the Board.

Committee members serve a term of two (2) years, and for no more that two (2) consecutive terms.

Committee meetings shall be scheduled on a regular basis, and as frequently as determined, by majority vote of the Committee. The Committee shall hold regular meetings as often as needed but at least once per quarter.
